Prayer for the Increase of Love and the Uprooting of Envy and All Malice

O Christ, who didst unite Thine apostles with the bond of love, unite us also, Thy faithful servants, closely to Thee by it, that we may fulfil Thy commandments and love one another with unfeigned love, through the prayers of the Theotokos, O only Lover of mankind.

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.

Warm our hearts with the fire of love for Thee, O Christ God, that, kindled by it, we may love Thee sincerely with heart, mind and our whole being, and, keeping Thy commandments, glorify Thee, O Lord, Giver of every good thing to us: glory to Thee.

Both now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
