About us
Kandeli (kandeli.ge) is an online store of Orthodox church goods based in Tbilisi, delivering across Georgia. The catalog holds more than 21,000 items: Orthodox icons, prayer books and spiritual literature, crosses, bracelets, candles and incense, church supplies and gift sets. Every item has photos, a description, a price and an expected delivery date.
To order — Sofrino and Orama
More than 1,500 items are in stock and ship quickly. The rest we bring in after you order, in 2–4 weeks, with free delivery: more than 13,000 Sofrino items (Russia) — icons, crosses, clergy vestments, liturgical vessels, censers and lamps, church furnishings and church books — and more than 5,900 Byzantine icons and church goods from Orama (Greece).
Payment and delivery
Pay online by card — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay or Google Pay — on a secure payment page; your card details never reach us. A courier delivers anywhere in Georgia in 2–5 business days, and in Tbilisi fast delivery the same day when you order before 12:00; standard delivery is free on orders over 300 ₾. Items can be returned within 14 days.
Your account
You can order without registering. With an account you see your order history and status, keep favorites, repeat a past order in one tap, download invoices and review what you received; your address and personal number fill in by themselves at checkout. Any order can be tracked by its number and phone, and every invoice carries a QR code to verify it. Search works by name, product code and even Georgian typed in Latin letters (e.g. “vercxli” finds “ვერცხლი” — silver), and products can be compared side by side. The site is in Georgian, English and Russian.
For churches
Churches and church institutions get a separate account: a verified church sees its orders, invoices and balance in its own dashboard and orders candles by the kilogram.
Church calendar
The church calendar gives the saints of the day, feasts, fasts and the daily readings, with an icon of each day’s saint. The full catalog lists every product by category.
The Kandeli app
The app (on Google Play for Android and on the App Store for iPhone) brings together the church calendar — with feasts, fasts, the Octoechos tone and the saints of the day — a prayer book (297 prayers), the complete Bible (78 books), lives of the saints, an Orthodox guide, Georgia’s holy places (48 churches and monasteries), sayings of the Fathers (over 1,500) and the Paterikon; the texts are in Georgian. It reminds you of prayers, feasts, fasts and your loved ones’ name days, keeps bookmarks, enlarges the text and works offline except for the shop. The Kandeli shop is built in, with a cart, checkout and order tracking.
