Prayer When Lighting a Candle before an Icon

O Lord, accept this sacrifice from my labours, and grant me reward by Thy grace. Warm my heart in prayer; give me strength to rise up, as the flame of this candle rises; adorn me with faith, hope, love, meekness, self-restraint, patience and purity, as with the flowers from which this wax was gathered.
