Prayer of St Ephrem the Syrian
O Lord and Master of my life, give me not the spirit of idleness, meddling, love of power and idle talk. (Prostration)
But grant unto me, Thy servant, the spirit of purity, humility, patience and love. (Prostration)
Yea, O Lord and King, grant me to see my own sins and not to judge my brother, for blessed art Thou unto the ages of ages. Amen. (Prostration)
O God, be gracious to me a sinner, and have mercy on me. (Twelve small bows)
O Lord and Master of my life, give me not the spirit of idleness, meddling, love of power and idle talk.
But grant unto me, Thy servant, the spirit of purity, humility, patience and love.
Yea, O Lord and King, grant me to see my own sins and not to judge my brother, for blessed art Thou unto the ages of ages. Amen. (Prostration)
