Holy Martyr Zacharias (+1782)

The holy Martyr Zacharias was tortured by the Turks for confessing Christ in Old Patras (in the Peloponnese) in 1782. At first he denied Christ and became a Muslim, but afterwards he repented and returned to the true faith. The saint met his end hanged on a tree.
