Thou who didst gain an unstinting fountain of healings, O holy great-martyr George, and by thy struggle didst become a physician of our infirmities, we entreat thee, intercede for our souls.

Intercede for us, O holy George, that we may be delivered from our iniquities, for grace hath been given thee to intercede for us.

Thou wast great in spirit, O valiant George; thou didst endure the contest, withstand kings and answer tyrants, for thou art a temple of Christ and an unshaken pillar; pray to the Lord unceasingly for the salvation of our souls.

What song, or what praise of holy George, is fitting for Thee? For he bowed his neck to the sword for Thee, who didst bow the heavens and come down; he shed his blood for Thee, who didst humble Thyself and put on the form of a servant; he became poor even unto death, in likeness to Thy poverty. Through his intercession and Thy great mercy, O God, have mercy on us.

We ask of Thee, O Merciful One: look upon us and have mercy on us through the prayers of the victorious martyr George.

Thy martyr George, O Lord, gave up his flesh to torments for the sake of the heavenly Jerusalem and became a fellow-dweller with the angels; through his intercession grant our souls great mercy.

O Lord, who didst grant Thy peace to holy George and didst show him forth as a light to the world, through whom the passions are driven away and the deceit of the devil is brought to nothing, through his prayers, O Lord, have mercy on us.

The Churches of Christ are radiant and rejoice, and the holy martyr George shineth in the light and intercedeth for us before the Lord.

Thy martyr George, O Lord, established in faith, grounded in hope and joined with longing to the love of Thy Cross, trampled down the power of the enemy and was granted the crown, and with the angels he ever intercedeth for our souls.

Let us all hasten to thy temple, O holy George, the dwelling of thy name; we entreat thee, O martyr of Christ, be our intercessor before the heavenly Father.

The holy martyr George, O Lord, was strengthened by faith and overcame the enemy who warred against him; he gained grace from the Saviour and intercedeth for us.

The valiant martyr George conquered in the battle with the demons and was joined to the multitude of the angels; he took up the cross and followed Christ. O servant of God, O blessed one, intercede for our souls.

The holy martyr George, the soldier of the great King, bravely scorned torments and trampled down the pride of the tyrants; and now he intercedeth that great mercy be granted to the world and to our souls.

The martyr offered his flesh to torments and fire as a sacrifice, O Saviour, like incense, and he rejoiceth before Thee.

The holy martyr George rebuked the tyrants with the wisdom of his teaching and trampled down the deceit of the devil; by the edge of the sword he was set free and became a fellow-dweller with the angels; through his prayers, O Lord, have mercy on us and save us.

The assembly of the angels praised the holy soldier who shrank not from sword and fire, and [praised Him] who granted him the crown of glory; through his intercession, O Christ God, have mercy on us.

By patience the holy martyr George was crowned; he intercedeth for us before the Lord.

Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us, through the prayers of holy George, the victor in the contest. This supplication we offer: have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us.

O true martyr and contender of Christ, valiant George, thou didst give thyself over to the sufferings of this world and endure every torment, and thou hast appeared as an intercessor with the angels; O helper of the world, intercede for our souls.

Let us sing with joy and keep the memory of the holy martyr George, who delighteth and rejoiceth in the kingdom.

O martyr of Christ the Saviour, clothed with victory, who didst fight well the good fight of godliness, intercede for our souls, that we may be delivered from every affliction.

Great is the wonder wrought by the valiant one of Christ, for he overcame the deceit of the devil, scorned the savagery of beasts, and was crowned in heaven with the honour of the angels. Through his intercession and Thy great mercy, O God, have mercy on us.

O holy martyr George, be an intercessor for us also with the Saviour, that He may receive our souls.

O holy martyr George, contender and valiant one, be an intercessor for our sins, for God will hear thy prayer and grant forgiveness to sinners.
