A Child’s Prayer for Parents

O Lord my God, Jesus Christ! Hear my prayer for my parents. Grant them one mind and love all the days of their life. Strengthen their bodies in health, that they may serve Thee by works of mercy and of evangelical goodness. Teach me ever to obey the word of my parents; deliver me from hypocrisy and guile before them, and deprive us not of justification at Thy dread judgement. Amen.
