Prayer for the Peace and Unity of Georgians and Abkhazians!

O most holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, glory to Thee.

O God, mighty and loving mankind, bless and preserve the peace and unity of Georgians and Abkhazians. O Lord, forgive us all our iniquities. First of all, O Lord, forgive us distrust and hatred, the shedding of our brothers’ blood and revenge, remembrance of wrongs and evil thoughts. Have mercy on us, O God, according to Thy great mercy, and restore to us mutual trust and love, self-sacrifice for one another and forgiveness, mutual respect and prayer for each other’s long life.

All this trial hath come upon us, O Lord, above all because of our falling away from Thee and from Thy holy Church. O Lord, give us back a firm and unwavering faith, that, raised up by Thy help and thankful to Thee, we may magnify Thee, bless Thee, sing to Thee and pray to Thee: Holy, Holy, Holy art Thou, O our God; through the Theotokos have mercy on us. Amen.
