Prayer to the Most Holy Trinity for the Unity of Georgia and the Return of Abkhazia and Samachablo

O most holy Trinity, consubstantial and incomprehensible Might, Father Almighty, only-begotten Son and Holy Spirit, one God, who art the Creator and Lord of all things visible and invisible, Cause of all good things: grant us who trust in Thee grace to glorify and to hymn Thine all-honourable and majestic name.

O Holy Trinity, perfection of all beings, grant peace and health to these Thy servants, the people allotted to the Mother of God, the Orthodox Christians of all Georgia, and among them the children of the land of Abkhazia and Samachablo; and restore again the unity and wholeness of our country and the God-protected security of our borders.

O most holy Trinity, incomprehensible and unsearchable, who in Thy righteous judgement justly bringest wrath upon us for our sins: to Thee we fall down and Thee we entreat, O good Lord: look with mercy and compassion upon our people dwelling in the land of Abkhazia and Samachablo, many times assailed and oppressed by the tyranny of the evil one, and strengthen and preserve them from every deadly wound, from the invasion of foreigners, from mutual enmity, hatred and revenge.

O all-good and most merciful Lord, grant us to see our own sins, the gift and strength of forgiveness and compassion, and deliverance from the temptations of the evil one, that we, Thy servants and handmaids, fallen through sin but raised up by Thy help and thankful to Thee, may sing to Thee, magnify Thee and pray to Thee:

Holy art Thou, Holy art Thou, Holy art Thou, O God; have mercy on us according to Thy great mercy.

O sweet-voiced organ, golden pipe, river of divine teachings, ask for us thy suppliants the remission of sins, O John Chrysostom; be our intercessor before the Trinity.
