Venerable Agabus of Esmaith (V)

The Venerable Agabus of Esmaith laboured in Syria. He was an obedient disciple of the Venerable Eusebius. The saint always went barefoot, wore chains about his waist and never lay down. After thirty-eight years of labour in unceasing inner prayer and silence, the Lord’s chosen one reposed in peace.
