Holy Martyr Mamelchtha of Persia (+c. 344)

The holy Martyr Mamelchtha of Persia was a priestess of the goddess Artemis before she followed Christ. She was converted to the true faith by her own sister. When the pagans saw the blessed martyr in the white garment of baptism, they stoned her. This happened around the year 344.
