Holy King Vladislav of Serbia (+1239)

The holy King Vladislav of Serbia, son of Saint Stephen of Serbia, governed the country for seven years. He was known for his mercy and cared for the sick, for strangers and for the poor. The blessed one built a monastery at Mileševa, where he died in 1239. He is buried there.
