Righteous Veronica (I)

Righteous Veronica is, according to tradition, the woman who was healed by touching the hem of the Saviour’s garment (Matt. 9:20–22). Veronica offered a towel to Christ as He went up to Golgotha, and the Saviour, on His way to be crucified, wiped His face with it and miraculously left on it the imprint of His face.
