Venerable Arcadius of Cyprus (+361)

The Venerable Arcadius of Cyprus (+361) laboured on the island of Cyprus in the time of the Emperor Constantine the Great (306–337). From his youth he chose the monastic life, set many on the way of the Lord, and strengthened them in the truth. His spiritual children were the holy Martyrs Julian the physician and Eubulus, while Saint Arcadius himself, endowed by the Lord with many gifts and with the working of miracles, commended his soul to the Lord in peace.
