St Seraphim of Sarov is one of the most venerated saints in Russia. For his ascetic labours God granted him the gifts of clairvoyance and working miracles. But the greatest gift he received was an all-embracing love for his neighbour. “Christ is risen, my joy!” With these words the Elder Seraphim greeted everyone who came to him for help or advice.
This icon of St Seraphim of Sarov in a moulded frame is an excellent name-day gift for anyone named Seraphim.
