Hieromartyr Theodore, Archbishop of Alexandria (+606)

The Hieromartyr Theodore, Archbishop of Alexandria, does not appear in the list of the patriarchs of Alexandria. It is supposed that Theodore is called archbishop because he tirelessly preached Christianity and strengthened the whole of Alexandria in the faith. He is identified with the holy Hieromartyr Theodore who is commemorated on 12 September.
