Prophet Zephaniah (636–605 Before the Nativity of Christ)

The Prophet Zephaniah, one of the twelve minor prophets, was a contemporary of the Prophet Jeremiah and the prophetess Huldah. He was descended from nobles and lived in the royal palace.

Saint Zephaniah foresaw the calamity that befell the inhabitants of Judaea and of the kingdoms bordering it.
