Venerable Acacius of Sinai (VI)

Saint John of the Ladder (commemorated 30 March) tells us about the Venerable Acacius of Sinai in his “Ladder of the Virtues”. For nine years, until his death, the blessed Acacius obediently bore the cruel treatment of a careless and merciless teacher, for which the Lord granted him salvation (for his life, see the reading for 7 July).
