Holy Martyrs Heraclius, Paulinus and Benedimus; the Martyrs Peter, Dionysius, Andrew, Paul and Christina (249–251)
The holy Martyrs Heraclius, Paulinus and Benedimus met their end for Christ in the city of Athens. They preached the faith among the pagans; together with God’s chosen disciples Peter, Dionysius, Andrew, Paul and Christina they were brought to trial and, after long torture, burned in a red-hot furnace.
