Martyr Polycarp (IV)
The holy Martyr Polycarp (IV) suffered for denouncing the Emperor Maximian (+305–313), who shed the blood of innocent Christians in Alexandria.
He publicly confessed Christ and went to torture of his own will. After long torments the holy martyr was beheaded.
