Description

This regal, festive baptism box is not only a convenient place for everything needed for Baptism but a true adornment of the church. Skilful golden cast patterns stand out against a soft silver background. The front bears an icon of Jesus Christ's baptism by St John the Baptist in the Jordan, recalling the origin of the Sacrament of Baptism.

Inside is everything needed for the Sacrament of Baptism: glass vessels for oil and chrism with labelled lids, a brush and an anointing stick, and small scissors for cutting a lock of hair. Base size: 150 × 85 mm; weight: 1.6 kg.
