Description
This golden baptism box stands out for the graceful engraving on its lid. The engraving shows the Gospel scene of Jesus Christ's baptism by St John the Baptist in the River Jordan, recalling the origin of the Sacrament of Baptism.
Inside is everything needed for the Sacrament: glass vessels for oil and chrism with labelled lids, a brush and an anointing stick, and small scissors for cutting a lock of hair. The lower part is framed with floral ornament and the front shows a six-winged seraph.
