Hieromartyr Milos, Bishop in Persia, and His Two Disciples Abrosimus and Sinas (+341)

The Hieromartyr Milos, bishop in Persia, and his two disciples Abrosimus and Sinas lived in the fourth century. Milos was a Persian and preached in the city of Susa. Afterwards, for his unwearying labours, he was appointed bishop. The blessed one endured many sufferings and much oppression from the pagans, and after three years he was forced to leave his flock. After visiting many holy places Milos returned to Persia, where during the persecution of the Christians by Shapur II he was run through with swords. Together with the saint his two disciples, Abrosimus and Sinas, were stoned. The Lord’s chosen ones suffered on 13 November 341, but since Saint John Chrysostom is commemorated on that day, the Church appointed 10 November for their commemoration.
