Venerable Domninus of Thessalonica (IV)

The Venerable Domninus was tortured for confessing Christ by the Emperor Maximian (284–305; 307–310), who had come to Thessalonica. The saint was taken outside the city and his legs were cut off at the knees. The dying martyr lived for seven days, and then committed to the Lord his soul, purified by suffering.
