Venerable Procopius (+1053)

The Venerable Procopius was born in Bohemia, in the village of Chotun. Being in holy orders, the saint laboured much to spread Christianity in Bohemia. On the river Sázava the blessed one founded a house in the name of Saint John the Forerunner, where he died in 1053.
