Holy Martyrs Hermes, Serapion and Polyaenus
The holy Martyrs Hermes, Serapion and Polyaenus were Romans. They suffered for Christ in the second century. When the arrested saints were brought before the tribunal, they boldly confessed Christ and refused to offer sacrifice to the idols. Then the tormentors dragged the Lord’s chosen ones through narrow and impassable places, over stones and crags, until they gave up their spirits in torment and joined the heavenly glory.
