Venerable Eusebius, Syrian Hermit (V)
The Venerable Eusebius the Hermit laboured in the Syrian town of Asikha in the fourth century. He lived an exceedingly ascetic life. When visitors to the Venerable Eusebius multiplied, he went to a nearby monastery, made himself a small shelter by its wall, and remained shut up in it until his end.
