Righteous Maximus, Presbyter of Totma (+1650)

The righteous Maximus, presbyter of Totma, served for a long time as a priest in the city of Totma in the diocese of Vologda, and then, strengthened by prayer and fasting, took on the hard labour of foolishness for Christ. The blessed Maximus died in deep old age on 16 January 1650 and was buried in the Church of the Resurrection. Miracles took place at his grave.
