Description
This noble brass Eucharistic set contains everything needed for the Eucharist. The chalice with a nickel-silver insert holds 0.1 L and measures 150 × 80 mm. The paten (120 × 40 mm) and two gilded plates (120 mm across) are hand-engraved with sacred images. The asterisk (60 × 80 mm) and spoon (165 × 30 mm) have pierced decoration. The two ladles (55 × 20 mm) have different finishes: gilded and silver-plated. Nickel silver needs proper use and care to avoid dark spots. To keep nickel silver from darkening, wipe the metal dry with a soft cloth straight after washing. Every drop of water left to dry on the surface leaves a dark oxide mark.
