Description

This unusual round church banner is decorated with several rows of geometric ornament. Against the golden decoration stands out an icon of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God, with the grieving apostles gathered round and Christ holding her soul, shown as an infant. The tip of the pole is crowned with a cross, the symbol of Christ's victory over death and the devil.
