Description
This paten, 220 × 220 × 110 mm, is made of copper and brass. At the centre of the dish is the Nativity of Christ, with a vine twining around and the shining words “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” (John 1:29). The stable foot is richly decorated with floral enamel patterns that look striking and noble against the gold background. White and red stones complete the design, sparkling festively in the light of the chandelier and candles.
