"A cruel and merciless heart can never attain purification. A merciful person is the physician of his own soul. Like a strong gust of wind, he drives the darkness of passions out of his inner being. Almsgiving is our good debt before God, as the word of the Gospel life declares." Publishing house "Alilo" has completed the publication of the series of works by Saint Ignatius Brianchaninov. This time "Alilo" offers parishioners interested in Christian theology the eighth and final volume of his works. This volume continues the "Sayings of the Fathers" and includes "Stories from the Lives of the Elder Egyptian Monks." All 8 volumes of the works of Saint Ignatius Brianchaninov are now fully available to readers in the "Alilo" store network.
