Plain and Simple

"Plain and Simple" is the title of a new project from the publishing house "Alilo," which will likely especially appeal to readers drawn to stories told vividly and in parable form. In the everyday, ordinary tales of Monk Simeon of Athos's book — in which, at first glance, no theological thought seems to appear — the reader will discover how to grasp the meaning of divine wisdom: how, through the example of simple people and sometimes of animals, objects, or particular events, to draw the right conclusion from what happens. The book is very beautiful and delights both the heart and the eye. It also makes a wonderful gift for children.
