Description

Handmade Byzantine Icon of Resurrection of Christ (also known as Christ Descent into Hell) in which Jesus' victory over death is glorified.

The icon depicts Jesus Christ , marked with the signs of the Crucifixion, raising Adam and Eve from their graves, thus symbolizing a new beginning for humanity.

The icon is created using the technique of gold printing while its background consists of hagiographic leaves of 22 carat gold which are applied in detail.

During the final processing, the icon is painted with dark red color around the perimeter and polished with a special varnish to maintain its shine.

It is offered in level or recessed wooden surface and is suitable for wall mounting.
