Description

Handmade Byzantine Icon of Jesus Christ Emmanouel at a young age.

Isaiah prophesied that when the people of Israel will see God as a man among men, they will give him the name "Emmanuel" which in Hebrew means "God with us".

The icon of Jesus Christ Emmanouel is made by experienced craftsmen with devotion and respect for the art of the Christian tradition.

The icon is created using the technique of gold printing while its background consists of hagiographic leaves of 22 carat gold which are applied in detail. The final treatment is done with a special varnish to maintain its shine.

It is offered in level or recessed wooden surface and is suitable for wall mounting.
