Holy Martyr Marinus (III)

The holy Martyr Marinus suffered in Rome around 283 (according to other information, in 217–218). The saint refused to offer sacrifice to the pagan idols and shattered them by the power of prayer, for which the lawless cruelly tortured him and then beheaded him.
