Holy Martyrs Probus, Tarachus and Andronicus (+304)

The holy Martyrs Probus, Tarachus and Andronicus died for Christ in 304. The pagans demanded that they offer sacrifice to the idols. The proconsul, losing patience at the firmness of the holy confessors, handed them over for torture. The embittered executioners brought upon the martyrs every torment they could devise, and at last hacked them all to pieces without mercy. The Christians secretly carried away the bodies of the saints and committed them to the earth.
