Holy Martyrs Chariton and Stratonicus
The holy Martyr Chariton was cut down with the sword for confessing Christ.
The holy Martyr Strator (Stratonicus) suffered for Christ in the third century in Nicomedia in Bithynia. After terrible tortures he was tied to the trunks of two bent trees and torn in two. Saint Strator is also commemorated on 13 September under the name Stratonicus.
