Uncovering of the Relics of the Venerable Lazarus of Galesion

The Venerable Lazarus of Galesion (+1053) was a stylite monk who laboured on the desolate mountain of Galesion, near Ephesus. On 17 July the uncovering of the blessed father’s incorrupt relics is commemorated (see his life in the reading for 7 November).
