Holy Martyr Justus (I)
The holy Martyr Justus was a pagan Roman soldier. Once, in a vision from on high, he saw the life-giving Cross of the Lord, after which he believed in Christ, distributed all his property to the poor and, entrusting himself to God’s will, began a new life. The lawless seized the saint and brought him before the tribunal, where he boldly confessed the true faith. For this Saint Justus was terribly tortured and then burned in fire. The blessed one’s body remained incorrupt.
