St Theodore Trichinas

The Venerable Theodore Trichinas was born in Constantinople into a rich family. While still young he went into the desert of Thrace and was tonsured a monk. The venerable father was a strict faster and went about winter and summer in coarse sackcloth. Even in his lifetime he worked miracles and healings. After his death myrrh flowed from his holy relics, which healed the sick and drove out evil spirits.

The years of the Venerable Theodore’s life are not known.
