Martyrs Rufinus the Deacon, Aquilina the Younger and 200 Soldiers with Them (+c. 310)

The holy Martyrs Rufinus the Deacon, Aquilina and 200 soldiers with them met their end in 310 in the city of Sinope, in the time of the Emperor Maximian (305–311). When Saint Rufinus the deacon was seized, Saint Aquilina took care of him. For this she too was thrown into prison. While they were in prison the martyrs converted by their miracles 200 soldiers, who with them suffered death for Christ: the saints were beheaded.
