St Caesarius the Physician
Saint Caesarius the physician lived for a long time at the court of the Emperor Constantius (337–361). He was the emperor’s friend and the court physician. In 368 Caesarius miraculously survived the earthquake that struck Nicaea, which finally convinced him of the Lord’s providence, goodness and almighty power. Saint Caesarius left the life of the world and gave himself to the service of the Lord.
