Holy Apostle Hermas (I)

The holy Apostle Hermas (I), Bishop of Philippopolis, was one of the Seventy. He met a martyr’s end at the close of the first century. In the Epistle to the Romans the holy Apostle Paul called on the Romans to show honour to the Apostle Hermas (Rom. 16:14).
