Description
This paten differs from others in its unusual foot, narrow at the top and flaring widely at the bottom. Enamel patterns and fine cobweb-like filigree make the chalice a true work of church art. The dish is hand-engraved with an icon of Christ Pantocrator and the Gospel words “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world”.
