Description

Easter is the chief Christian feast. On this day Christians remember the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and greet one another with the Easter greeting: “Christ is Risen! He is Risen indeed!” For believers the Resurrection is a source of constant joy, for it gave us eternal life and salvation.

The icon shows the Risen Christ coming out of the tomb. His garments shine with light, He holds a banner bearing the cross, and angels stand at His feet. Every detail of the iconography tells of the miracle of the Resurrection.

This icon of the Resurrection in festive packaging makes a lovely Easter gift and an adornment of a home icon corner.
