The Great Book of Canons (Nomocanon)

Publishing house "Alilo" has released the Great Book of Canons — a collection of the canons of the Orthodox Church; the text is a legislative monument of Byzantine-Greek origin; it represents the Georgian-language edition of the same "Nomocanon," accompanied also by the norms of Georgian church law. Since the "Book of Canons" had already become a bibliographic rarity, "Alilo" took it upon itself to reprint it. We hope this will make this most important publication accessible to clergy and laity, as well as to monastics. From now on the text will also be available to specialists, who will be able to study it and work toward its further refinement.
