Description

Publishing house "Alilo" presents an explanation of the Lord's Prayer "Our Father", composed by Saint Theophan the Recluse.

The reader is familiar with many explanations of the Lord's Prayer. It has been expounded by Tertullian (before his fall), Saint Cyprian, Saint Gregory of Nyssa, Saint John Chrysostom, Saint Cyril of Jerusalem, Saint Cassian, Blessed Augustine, Blessed Theophylact, and Saint Symeon of Thessalonica.

The reflections of the holy hierarch, grounded in the interpretations of these holy fathers, are marked by depth and simplicity, and find an echo in the reader's heart.
