The whole Church celebrates the feast of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God on August 28 with great solemnity. This day is observed with particular reverence in our country as well.
For the feast of Maryamoba, the Patriarchate's "Alilo" store offers a gift basket containing:
a book — The Earthly Life of the Most Holy Mother of God and the History of Her Miracle-Working Icons;
a book — "The Balm of Healing", in which the author, Archpriest Konstantin Giorgadze, a doctor of medicine, speaks about illnesses and their healing, from both a spiritual and a medical perspective;
an icon of the Dormition — with a holy blessing (evlogia);
oil from the lamps of the miracle-working icons of the Mother of God of Iveron from the Holy Mountain and of Jerusalem;
holy water — from the holy places of Jerusalem;
a censer — with charcoal and fragrant incense;
candles;
a ceramic candle-holder.
The basket will be delivered to the address of your choice in an Alilo gift bag.
