Handmade Byzantine Icon of Thomas the Apostle.
Thomas the Apostle became one of the Twelve Disciples of Jesus Christ when the Lord called him to follow him. He was a very faithful disciple, but he doubted the Resurrection of the Lord , as he had not seen it himself.
When Jesus Christ again appeared before his disciples, Thomas touched His wounds and exclaimed: "My Lord and my God."
Since then, Thomas the Apostle engaged in a great missionary work after receiving the illumination of the Holy Spirit and the blessing of the Lord.
He traveled as far as India to preach the Gospel but was captured by King Misdaeus, who ordered his torture and death.

O Holy Apostle Thomas, intercede with the merciful God that He grant unto our souls forgiveness of offences.
The Icon of Thomas the Apostle is an exact copy of Byzantine art and is created by experienced craftsmen using the method of gold printing where hagiographic leaves of 22 karat gold are applied in detail to decorate the background.
During the final processing, the icon is painted with dark red color around the perimeter and polished with a special varnish to maintain its shine.
It is offered in level or recessed wooden surface and is suitable for wall mounting.
